How to Survive in the Chaotic World.

When we’re living through stressful or chaotic situations, we instinctively go into survival mode and focus almost entirely on coping with the reality at the moment. It's sensible to do so because instinctively we equally remember to switch back to thriving mode once the stressful or chaotic situations has retreated. It is not easy to relax when we’re tired and under pressure, and when the world around us appears to be in chaos.

The problem with most of us is that surviving through stressful condition becomes a habit and we face each day expecting to have to cope and struggle our way through for survival. Though challenges when come our way will probably prevent us from degenerating and becoming soft, weak and lazy. But it’s not necessary for us to exist in a continual state of tension and depression, waiting for the next spate of stress to come our way. We could all try to create in ourselves a place of peace which sustains us in times of stress and in which we can learn to thrive no matter what is going on around us. This is what I called "An Oasis of Calm".

"An Oasis of Calm" is a situation or a place of refuge amid unpleasantness. It can also mean a pleasant or peaceful period in the midst of a difficult or a chaotic situation. During such period what we should do is to harmonize and develop to be able to subdue the survival mode. Survival mode is never a mode for relaxation.

As humans, we thrive on routine and predictable systems, however, we know that in life things happen – from natural disasters to attacks on our own soil. Preparation is the most fundamental thing. It is the most essential part of survival. In fact, those who don’t prepare will often be the first ones to perish or suffer tough losses and injury in the chaotic world.
