Functions Of water In Our Bodies.

Water is required for all chemical reactions in our cells. These are functions of water in our bodies:
* Water regulates body temperature.
* Water promotes healthy skin.
* Water is a natural lubricant for joints.
* Water moves nutrients around the body.
* Water removes waste from the body.
* Water helps with digestion.

Water is our body's principal chemical component and takes up the larger percentage of our body weight. Every system in our body depends on water. For example, water flushes toxins out of vital organs and carries nutrients to our cells. Water in our body generates blood, distributes nutritive elements and eliminates waste matter. It controls temperature and helps digestion. Most importantly, water revitalizes body cells.

When we were embryo, we were mostly water. The quantity of water in our bodies decline as we age.
A seven-week old embryo is composed of 95% water.
A seven-week old baby has 75-80% water.
An adult has 65-70% water and the aged 50%.
It is clear from these percentages that water content is a guide on the state of health of the body.

Water is the only substance in the planet that has three physical states solid, liquid and gas. The states makes water a powerful solvent that carries many invisible ingredients as minerals, oxygen, nutrients, products of waste and pollutants. Obviously, life can not exist without water.
